Gucci located a personal party in excess of 175 visitors in the House's Chicago store to celebrate the 60th Anniversary from the horsebit loafer and also the 1953 collection for males and ladies. In celebration of the icon, Gucci released the Specialized program offering visitors the exclusive chance to produce a personalized form of the legendary loafer, by selecting from an array of materials, colors, textures and horsebit finishings. To help highlight the 60th anniversary, the shop displayed archival pictures of celebs putting on the legendary loafer throughout the big event. My personal favorite pair (the eco-friendly python variety) was featured in The Gifted Mr. Ripley worn by Matt Damon.
It had been really refreshing to determine color making a look and feel on guest's fashionable attire through the evening - lavender, royal blue and emerald were standouts among an audience outfitted in black and whitened. In honoring Gucci's legendary shoe, many attending carried the House's pieces and add-ons. My personal favorite from the evening was host Mario M. Tricoci's sleek set of vivid orange leather Gucci horsebit loafers - a bold pop of color to proclaim the start of spring fashion!
